My BMD is trained by him. You can call him n visit the class first b4 u decide. ;D Hi Kat, I've seen dogs trained by him and they are all very well-behaved when outside. How is yours doing?

At first, felt choker chain was painful and also training not necessary cos' Jubilee is very obedient, try very hard to please type.
But now, we see many dogs on choker chain and they are so well-behaved outside. My dog is very very strong, always pulling on leash when we take her out and using all her 27kg, she can easily drag me. Even my brother who is 1.86m and almost 80kg cannot tahan her pulling. Also, sometimes she overexcited will jump on others. (Quite paiseh...)
I notice many big dogs are the ones on choker chain and I think they need that sort of training more than small dogs cos' they don't know how strong they are when they pull. Seldom see small dogs on choker chain.
So, now thinking of joining a class for basics so that can learn how to use choke chain effectively.

y so upset? different trainers are juz like the education system in singapore wat... if hard to train then use choker train... like slow learners go to EM3 easy to teach or please dog...will simply obey u...no need use force or choker chain like those EM1 students..
as long as u the owner is happy with the results and training method can already
no need to condemn those choker chain...its juz like u condemn those EM3 students or lousy neighborhood schools wat
personally...i dun like choker chain then i dun use it loh... use treat...as long as she respond to me...its good!

It is strange that the admin should ask a question, hoping to lead the readers and posters to a one-sided view, even after all the numberous atempts by neutral and well-meaning people to present a unbiased view. I wonder what is the purpose of this forum? To propogate the views of just one arrogant individual? And amazingly enough, the moderator is also not doing anything. What if Patrick Wong happens to see this thread and notices that this is but a slander towards him? Haizz......

patrick wong is a good trainer..he maintains on using choke chain...but he won't force ppl to use it what his assistant jessie says : " if u can't accept choke chain training then dun join his class as simple as that." the world is full of choices, its up to u to chose but u should condemn one another juz like another It is strange that the admin should ask a question, hoping to lead the readers and posters to a one-sided view, even after all the numberous atempts by neutral and well-meaning people to present a unbiased view. I'm really apalled to see such a message coming from the admin of this board. Do you actually know what you are talking about?? If you are uncomfortable with this training method, so be it. Move on & explore other methods. The choke chain training method is a proven effective training method. If you do not understand the actual process of the training, I would strongly suggest that you do more reading up before you open your mouth & post such irresponsible remarks! Especially when you are the admin! These trainers are crazy! They tot they train Tiger ;D

Hi Julibee... My Bmd shows a big great different b4 n after training. I would say that we see result after the training. Training on choker chain is not always puttting ur dog on command, there's always a command like OK or RELEASE after the training or during the break and ur dogs will know that it's time to play or to rest, i see alot of ppl in the class when give the OK or REALEASE command, their dog will start playing wz their owner. We can't really say who is good n who is not, unless we've gone through every training session wz ALL the trainers in Singapore, and to be frank I used to hv phobia wz choker chain too, that's why i put my BMD in the positive training class but after a few lessons i pull him out of the class(due to some reasons) and join Patrick's class. I wouldn't say that positive traning is not good but i would say it may work on some dogs and it may not for others. Let's not condem choker chain, should try it b4 saying anything bad abt it, and i strongly think that it's a good way to correct ur dogs using a chocker chain and i would like to know how to correct ur dogs using positive training? As for electric collar, u guys will notice that it is less painful compared to the choker chain if u try it on urself. Try going to one of the pet shop selling e collars and tell them that u wanna try and u'll see the different. No my BMD is not using the E-collar but I will use it if I need to. I think ppl got phobia of E-collars coz everyone think E=ELECTRIC but nope sorry E should be ELECTRONIC. Cheers Jass Hi Kat, I've seen dogs trained by him and they are all very well-behaved when outside. How is yours doing?
