sheltie,i saw u ytd, my trainer was just saying, there is on sheltie there, cos the sheltie in my class like very lonely, only one of its own breed, the rest are schnauzers and jrt... lol, so now got fren, so the small sheltie is U la, got one more BIG sheltie right... me at puppy class ring 3, beside intermediate with jrt. myder,my dog started his lesson at 4 mths old. in actual fact, my personal experience is, my dog started young, thus he has not too many bad habits as the one i had in perth where we send him school too late, so alot of bad habits already developed. as for going straight to pre-novice, not 2 sure yet, u may call: 64964821 to check with them. but my trainer said my dog need the basic obedience cert. to proceed to pre-novice. so he is in this puppy class lor, so now the whole class do something "fun" like national formation, could be a stair case formation, a v-shape formation, lotsa more, all based on heeling, sit-stay, down-stay, stand-stay - so if ur dog can master all these, think no problem ya?
