yup! my boi love snacks very much!! o viki, some of the snacks treat as a treat if your dog is doing as you have command or etc....
for training, i give doggyman wang wang to reward him for being a good boy and let me comb/groom his coat, i give him the jerky. he will know that if he don let me comb his coat, i will give him the treat.
or sometime he simply such a good or sweet boy, i will give him some jerky to munch on.
Basically it all depends on how much you give him, try not to give him too much mainly becos this is not part of his main meal.

Viki suggest dun give so much Beggin Strips, it has BHA / BHT preservative, no good ne, personal opinion and some research by my own. Think u can try nutro lamb jerky or solid gold tiny tots; doggy man apple and carrot jerky are not bad too, but we pay for a price. agree with a fren that beggin strip is one of the cheapest jerky around. for health sake, cut down, eating a bit no harm, but dun make it a long term treat for him
2 cents worth

just my 2 cent worth, certain brands will sell at a cheap price becos they have by-products (the cost of by-products is very cheap) but becos they add by-products, it is not good for your dog's health in the long run. We buy slight costly brands like solid gold and caninae becos they do not have by-products and it have proved to be a healthy food for dogs.
